Don't labour in the kitchen for hours preparing a pudding to die for. Just customise some store-cupboard favourites and claim these deliciously easy desserts as all your own work!

Moroccan rice
Moroccan rice pudding

This aromatic and comforting pud is served warm but tastes just as delicious chilled.

Serves 6
Preparation time 5 minutes
Cooking time 5 minutes
Per serving: 229cals; 8g fat (3g saturated)

  • 2 x 425g cans Ambrosia organic rice pudding
  • 1tsp cardamom seeds, crushed
  • 2tbsp rose water
  • 100g (31/2oz) sultanas
  • 4tbsp finely chopped pistachios
  • Rose petals, to garnish
  • 1. Gently heat the rice pudding in a saucepan over a low heat for 5-6 minutes, stirring continuously but not too roughly until it has warmed all the way through.

    2. Remove from heat. Stir in the cardamom, rose water and sultanas. Spoon the spiced mixture into 6 warmed bowls. Sprinkle over the nuts, garnish with rose petals and serve.
